My approach
In a society that capitalizes on self-doubt, my goal is to provide a space of unconditional acceptance in which you can explore your inner resources. It is deeply important to my practice that I hold space for your intersecting identities and validate how they shape your life experience. My work is eclectic in nature, drawing from various approaches including feminist and person-centered therapies, self-empowerment strategies, parts work, and psychophysiological interventions that target the nervous system. I am committed to LGBTQIA+ affirming care, harm reduction, and anti-oppressive practice.
It is my passion to support people experiencing challenges related to pregnancy, fertility, the postpartum period, termination, birth trauma, and PMS or PMDD. I have also been drawn to working with people who are seeking to access and process repressed emotions, support with non-suicidal self-injury and other manifestations of emotion dysregulation, or experiencing issues related to identity formation. In addition to individual therapy, I also provide psychedelic integration services. I come into the therapy room with my own lived experiences navigating perfectionism, imposter syndrome, a highly sensitive existence, identity formation and acceptance, and inner-child healing. I use these experiences and gathered learnings to cultivate a therapeutic environment that is warm with empathy and appreciation for the courage that growth requires. I have both experienced and witnessed the catharsis and meaningful change that therapy can inspire. I hope to offer that light to you as a partner in your holistic journey towards healing. |
