I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Master’s in Counseling and emphasis in Clinical Mental Health and Rehabilitation. Presently, I am working towards obtaining my Certification in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International. Outside of the therapy room, I serve as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Arizona College of Nursing, where I support several research studies in the Mechanisms Underpinning Maternal Health and Bioanthropology of Reproductive Transformation and Health Laboratories. In a society that capitalizes on self-doubt, I aspire to provide a space of unconditional acceptance in which you can get to know your truest self. My work is eclectic in nature but rooted in compassion-focused and trauma-informed care. I draw from various approaches, including parts work and acceptance and commitment therapies, and integrate self-empowerment strategies and mind-body interventions that help you befriend your nervous system. I am committed to LGBTQIA+ affirming care, harm reduction, and anti-oppressive practice. I am passionate about supporting people who experience reproductive mental health challenges and have advanced training in this area. I am also drawn to working with adults who are seeking to work through issues of perfectionism, people-pleasing, self-esteem, non-suicidal self-injury, or identity formation. I come into the therapy room with my own lived experiences and use these gathered learnings to cultivate a therapeutic environment that is warm with empathy and appreciation for the courage that growth requires. I have both experienced and witnessed the catharsis and meaningful change that therapy can inspire. I hope to offer that light to you as a partner in your journey towards healing. Warmly, |
